There are two primary airports serving the Myrtle Beach area, also known as the Grand Strand. Most people think of Myrtle Beach International (MYR) when considering flights to the Grand Strand, but Wilmington NC International Airport (ILM) offers a nice alternative to MYR.

Myrtle Beach International Airport (Code: MYR)
MYR is located near downtown Myrtle Beach close to the intersection of US 17 Bypass and Highway 501, and is just a few minutes from many golf courses.
Below is a list of airlines serving MYR as of March 2008. The airport’s official web site, www.flymyrtlebeach.com, has current information regarding airlines and flights.

Other courses to consider for incoming or getaway rounds include Carolina National, Lockwood Folly, River’s Edge, and the four St. James Plantation courses near Southport, NC More information regarding airlines and flights for ILM can be found at www.flyilm.com.
