Directions to Myrtle Beach Area Golf Courses

Carolina National at Winding River Plantation & Founder's Club, Player's Club, Member's Club & Reserve Club at St James Plantation: Take US 17 north. 22 mi north of NC/SC border, turn right onto NC 211. Carolina Nat'l at Winding River Plantation is 2.5 mi on right. St. James Plantation is 13 mi on right.

Lockwood Folly Golf Club: Take US 17 north 11 mi from border of NC/SC to US 17 Business at Shallotte, NC. Follow Business 17 (Main Street) & turn right on Holden Beach Rd. (NC 130), just past Home Depot. Holden Beach Rd. becomes Sabbath Home Rd. at Holden Beach Causeway. Follow Sabbath Home Rd. 1mi, & turn right onto Stone Chimney Rd. Lockwood Folly entrance is on left.

River's Edge: Take US 17 north 13 mi from NC/SC border. Exit right onto NC 130 just after Welcome Center. Turn left at end of ramp (east) towards Shallotte. Take Rt. 130 three mi to 2nd traffic light. Turn left on Rt. 179 & make immediate right on Copas Rd. Follow Copas Rd. for 1mi to course entrance on left.

Lion's Paw, Panther's Run, Tiger's Eye & Leopard's Chase at Ocean Ridge Plantation: Take US 17 north 7 mi past NC/SC border. Entrance to Ocean Ridge Plantation is on right. Gate guard & signs will direct you to courses.

Meadowlands & Carolina Shores: Take US 17 0.7 mi north across SC/NC border. There is a 4-way intersection with traffic light, (Food Lion supermarket on right). For Meadowlands turn left on Calabash Rd. Course is less than 1.5 mi on right. For Carolina Shores, turn right & take Country Club Rd. 2 mi to course on right.

Crow Creek & Brunswick Plantation: Crow Creek is on US 17, two mi past SC/NC state line on left. Brunswick Plantation is 3 mi past the SC/NC state line on left on US 17.

Pearl, Thistle, Sea Trail, Sandpiper Bay & Oyster Bay: Take US 17 north thru Little River, SC. About ½ mi north of Glen Dornoch Golf Course, bear right onto Rte 179 toward Calabash (just after Little River Medical Center). Take Rte 179 thru Calabash. Continue straight thru 3rd traffic light on 179/Old Georgetown Rd. for all courses except Oyster Bay. For Oyster Bay turn right at 3rd light onto Business 179. Oyster Bay is 3 mi on left, shortly after sharp left curve.

Heather Glen & Glen Dornoch: Take US 17 north thru Little River, SC. Glen Dornoch is about ¼ north of BB&T Bank on right. Heather Glen is about ¼ mi north of Glen Dornoch on left.

Eagle's Nest, River Hills, Cypress Bay, & Farmstead: All courses are in Little River, SC. Take US 17 north. Eagle's Nest is on left about 1 mi north of Intracoastal Waterway Bridge at intersection of US 17 & SC Hwy 90. River Hills is on left at light ½ mi north of Eagle's Nest & across from Holiday Inn. Cypress Bay is 1/2 mi past River Hills on left. For Farmstead, continue past Cypress Bay 1 mile & make left at traffic light on Mineola Ave. (Blockbuster Video & Kangaroo gas station on the left). Travel 3 mi & Farmstead is on left.

Courses on SC Hwy 9: Palmetto Greens, Aberdeen, Long Bay, Black Bear, Crown Park & Woodland Valley: Take US 17 across the bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway and bear left on to SC Hwy 9 north/west. Courses are in order listed from south to north. Woodland Valley is 12 mi north of Aberdeen on right (look for sign).

Tidewater: From north of Intracoastal Waterway Bridge take US 17 south over bridge. Take Cherry Grove exit just after end of bridge. At end of exit, turn left. Go 1/8 mi, & turn right in front of Hampton Inn on Little River Neck Road. From south of Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, take US 17 north thru city of North Myrtle Beach. Take Cherry Grove Beach exit. Make left at end of exit, & right on Little River Neck Rd. just after Hampton Inn. Course is on left, about 4 mi.

Possum Trot: Take US 17 to Possum Trot Rd. in North Myrtle Beach (between 14th Ave South & 15th Ave South). Turn on Possum Trot Rd. & go to the end.

Beachwood & Azalea Sands: Take US 17 to 15th Ave South in North Myrtle Beach for Beachwood, & 21st Ave South for Azalea Sands. Both are on the southbound side of US 17.

Barefoot Resort - Norman, Love, Fazio & Dye Courses: Take US 17 to 46th Ave South (Preston's Restaurant, & Alligator Adventure on corner), or to Windy Hill Dr. (Walgreen's on corner) in North Myrtle Beach. Turn west at light & go over a bridge. Follow signs to courses.

Arcadian Shores: Take US 17 to just south of intersection with SC 22. Turn east on Hilton Rd. (next to Red Lobster) & follow to course.

Waterway Hills: In Myrtle Beach near "Restaurant Row" on US 17 just north of US 17 Bypass/Business "split" on southbound side of US 17.

Dunes Golf & Beach Club: From North: Take US 17 south to US 17 Business south. Make 2nd left after Carolina Opry on to Wildwood Trail, and make left on Club Rd. Club Rd. will merge into Ocean Blvd. Follow Ocean Blvd. to the clubhouse at the end of the road. From South: Take US 17 Bypass north to 82nd Ave Parkway. Turn right on 82nd Ave. Parkway. Follow 82nd Ave Parkway past the Marriott Grande Dunes. Turn right on Ocean Blvd. (the first road after the Marriott) and follow Ocean Blvd. to the course.

Shaftesbury Glen: Take US 17 to SC Hwy 9 north. Go 7 mi on SC 9 & make left at 1st traffic light after Aberdeen CC (gas station on left) on SC 905. Stay on SC 905 for 10.7 mi. Course is on left. If near SC 22, take SC 22 west to SC 905. Go south on SC 905 about 2.5 mi.

Grande Dunes: Off US 17 Bypass on southbound side. Entrance is almost directly across from Dixie Stampede.

Pine Lakes: Entrance to course is on Robert Grissom Pkwy North between 48th Ave North & US 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach.

Myrtlewood: Off US 17 Bypass on southbound side at 48th Ave North in Myrtle Beach.

Courses on US 501 - River Oaks, World Tour, Arrowhead, Wizard, Man o' War, Myrtle Beach Nat'l, Legends, Burning Ridge, & Wild Wing: Take US 17 or SC 31 to US 501. All courses have billboards & signs on US 501. River Oaks, World Tour, & Arrowhead are on US 501 between US 17 Bypass & SC 31. Use River Oaks Drive to get to River Oaks & World Tour. For Arrowhead Golf Course, if taking US 17 to US 501, take US 501 North towards Conway, then follow signs to Forestbrook Rd. (2nd exit after waterway bridge). Go left at bottom of exit ramp approx. 150 yards to stop light. Take left at light on Outlet Blvd Turn right on Burcale Rd. Course is 1.5 mi. on left. If taking SC 31, take US 501 South. Stay right on ramp & exit immediately off US 501. Turn right at light on Forestbrook Rd. & left at light on Outlet Blvd. Turn right on Burcale Rd. Course is 1.5 mi. on left. Myrtle Beach Nat'l, Legends, Burning Ridge & Wild Wing have entrances directly off US 501 north of US 501/SC 31 intersection. For Wizard & Man o' War, turn right on Carolina Forest Rd. and follow signs to clubhouses.

The Witch: Take US 17 Bypass south about 6 mi past US 501 to SC 544. Turn right on SC 544. Go 10 mi to course on left. Or take SC 31 South to the end and turn right on SC 544. Follow SC 544 approx. 4 mi to course on left.

Prestwick: Take US 17 Bypass south about 6 mi past US 501 to SC 544. Turn left on SC 544. Follow SC 544 one mile & turn left on Lakewood School Rd. Prestwick is 1mi on right. From US 17 Business in Myrtle Beach, drive south on US 17 Business (Kings Hwy) until you intersect SC 544. Turn right on SC 544. Follow SC 544 approx. 1 mile & turn right on Lakewood School Rd. Prestwick is 1 mile on right.

Wicked Stick, Indigo Creek & Indian Wells: All courses are on US 17 Bypass. Take US 17 Bypass south past US 501, airport & SC 544. Wicked Stick is about 7 mi south of US 501 on left. Indigo Creek is about 3 mi past Wicked Stick on right, & Indian Wells is on left.

International Club, Blackmoor, & TPC of Myrtle Beach: Take US 17 Bypass south into Murrells Inlet. Turn right at light after Indigo Creek Golf Course on Tournament Blvd (SB&B Burnout Saloon on right). International Club is ½ mi on right. For TPC, go to end of Tournament Blvd & entrance to TPC is across the road (SC 707). For Blackmoor, turn right on SC 707. Course is less than 1mi on left.

Litchfield & River Club: Take US 17 Bypass south about 20 mi past US 501. Entrance is on right.

Wachesaw East: Take US 17 Bypass south about 14 mi past US 501. Entrance is on right.

Tradition Club & Willbrook Plantation: Take US 17 Bypass south about 17.5 mi past airport. Entrance to courses is 2 mi past Brookgreen Gardens on right (2nd traffic light after Brookgreen).

Caledonia & True Blue: Take US 17 Bypass south about 25 mi past US 501 to city of Pawley's Island. Turn right at sign for Caledonia & True Blue on Blue Stem Rd. (about 0.7 mi. past McDonalds on US 17). True Blue is 1mi on right. For Caledonia, go to end of Blue Stem Rd. & turn right on King's River Rd. Course is on left.

Heritage Club, Pawleys Plantation & Founder's Club @ Pawleys: Take US 17 Bypass south past US 501. For Heritage, go 22 mi south of Myrtle Beach Airport & take right at Heritage Plantation sign on to Beaumont Dr. Go 2 mi to end & turn right. Entrance is on left. For Pawleys Plantation, stay on US 17 past the entrance to Heritage. Course is on left (northbound) side of US 17, 2.3 miles south of the Hammock Shops on the left. Founder's Club @ Pawleys is ¼ mi. south of Pawleys Plantation on right.
