With our "Mid Premium Package" you stay 3 nights in the Golf Villas at Aberdeen Country Club and you get to choose 3 courses from our list of 6 great values. The choices offer a wide variety of layouts ranging from open, player-friendly designs to narrow, "shot-maker" courses. Wicked Stick Golf Links (www.wickedstick.com), a John Daly design, is just like "Big John," bold and sometimes intimidating, but fun to be around. This course allows you to "grip it and rip it," playing over 7,000 yards, including the 265-yard par 3 seventh hole! Indigo Creek Golf Club (www.indigocreekgolfclub.com), located a little south of the Myrtle Beach Airport, features traditional design with tree-lined fairways and promises a player-friendly round of golf. Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club (www.sandpiperbaygolf.com) is a Dan Maples design that features some of the best bent grass greens on the Grand Strand. This 27-hole complex features a mix of open, player-friendly holes, tree-lined narrow fairways, and holes requiring carries over water hazards to daunting greens. This course is a favorite of the locals and is a great value. The Willard Byrd at Sea Trail Resort (www.seatrailgolf.com) offers scenic views of the Calabash River, which winds its way through the resort, and features ancient oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. The Byrd Course, one of three great courses at Sea Trail, offers a challenging but fair layout that is fun for golfers of all levels. Woodland Valley Golf Club (www.woodlandvalleycc.com), formerly known as Diamond Back Golf Club, is a course that is often overlooked, but don't miss out on this one. Woodland Valley offers a great test of golf in a quiet, serene environment. Rounding out the list of Mid-Premium golf courses is Lion's Paw Golf Links (www.lionspaw.com). Lion's Paw, the first of the Big Cats, is a challenging course, stretching just over 7,000 yards, with four of the toughest par 3s you'll find in the Myrtle Beach area. Playing to your handicap won't be easy when you're playing into the teeth of this cat.
