The hardest thing about this package is deciding which three of these four high-value courses you want to play. Each of the four courses listed are great values and are in great condition. All of the courses are par 72 championship courses. Crow Creek Golf Club (www.crowcreek.com) is a terrific parkland course that measures more than 7,100 yards from the "tips" but is still player-friendly for golfers of all skill levels. Located just 2 miles north of the North Carolina/South Carolina State Line, Crow Creek is known for its lightening fast greens and perfectly manicured fairways and bunkers. The Rees Jones Course at Sea Trail Resort (www.seatrailgolf.com) offers scenic views of the Calabash River, which winds its way through the resort, and features ancient oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. The Jones Course, one of three great courses at Sea Trail, offers a challenging but fair layout that is fun for golfers of all levels. River's Edge Golf Club (www.river18.com) is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. The course gets its name from its location on the Shallotte River. For scenic beauty, River's Edge is hard to top. The signature hole of River's Edge is the par 5, 570 yard 9th hole. The right side of the fairway is lined with trees and the river runs the entire length of the left side of the hole and cuts through the fairway about 200 yards from the green. The green is on a peninsula that juts out into the river. Tempted to go for the green in two? Just ask Arnie... he hit two balls in the water trying to reach in two! Carolina National Golf Club (www.carolinanationalgolf.com), rounds out this foursome. This 27-hole Freddie Couples Signature Course features some of the most scenic holes in the Carolinas. Natural wetlands and tree-lined fairways define the three nine-hole tracks (Egret, Ibis, and Heron). The signature hole, the 203-yard par 3 fifth hole on the Heron Course has to be seen to be believed. Golfers must carry a marsh to a peninsula green guarded on three sides by bunkers. Bring your "A Game" when you play three of these courses, all of which have been rated 4 ½ Stars in the Golf Digest Places to Play Guide. Picking only three might be the toughest challenge, but maybe you don't have to. Ask one of our Golf Directors about adding a fourth round by playing 36 holes one day or add an extra night and a fourth round of golf. Then you won't have to choose.
