Why play golf on mediocre, over-rated, over-priced golf courses?
If you want to play the best golf courses Myrtle Beach has to offer, this is the package for you!
Play three golf courses ranked in America's 100 Greatest Public Courses by Golf DigestTM.
Featured in this package are Tidewater Golf Club, The Dunes Golf & Beach Club and Tiger's Eye Golf Links.
Tidewater was named as one of the top 75 Resort Courses in America and features unsurpassed views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the salt marshes that lead to the Atlantic Ocean.
The Dunes Club, a Robert Trent Jones designed course, has recently reopened after a complete renovation (overseen by R.T. Jones' son, Rees). New bent grass greens have been installed and bunkers and greens have been restored according to the original Robert Trent Jones plans. The Dunes Club was the site of the PGA Sr. Tour Championship for many years. The par 5 13th hole, nicknamed "Waterloo," stretches 590 yards and wraps around Lake Singleton. Waterloo was named by Sports IllustratedTM as one of the "Best 18 Holes in America" and by Golf DigestTM as one of the "100 Best Holes in America." As noted by Tom Doak in a 2001 Esquire MagazineTM article, the 13th at The Dunes is credited as being the inspiration for signature holes as a concept.
Tiger's Eye was recently named by Golf Digest MagazineTM as one of the Top 100 Public Access Courses in the U.S. and was named the 5th Best Public Access Course in North Carolina. In 2003, the readers of the Myrtle Beach Sun News named it the Best Overall Golf Course in Myrtle Beach.
If you've got the game and you want to play the best of Myrtle Beach, these are the courses for you!
