Golf Package Description: |
This package should be called "No ... really ... what's the catch?" But there is no catch, just great golf at a great price. Stay three nights in a deluxe 2-bedroom golf villa at Sunset Village at Sandpiper Bay and play three rounds of golf at The Maples Course at Sea Trail Resort, The Avocet Course at Wild Wing Plantation, and Arrowhead Country Club. All for a price you can't refuse (gee ... maybe that's where we came up with the name). The Maples Course has A-1 bent grass greens and a number of typical Dan Maples touches, including waste areas running the length of many fairways, which are lined with pine and hardwoods and greens with subtle undulations, strategically placed bunkers, and a great clubhouse. Arrowhead and Avocet are both located on Hwy. 501, making one or the other a perfect course to play on the way in or on the way out of the Myrtle Beach area. Arrowhead, a Raymond Floyd-designed gem features 27 holes that will challenge any golfer and offers some great views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Wild Wing was named 2002 South Carolina Golf Course of the Year by the National and State Golf Course Owners Associations and the 2002 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners Association. The course offers outstanding conditions, including perfectly conditioned bent grass greens, one of the best practice facilities you'll ever see, a large, comfortable clubhouse, and great service from the bag drop to the pro shop.
