Featured in this package are Sea Trail - Byrd, Woodland Valley, and Lockwood Folly, with lodging in a two-bedroom golf villa at Sandpiper Bay - Sunset Village. The Willard Byrd at Sea Trail Resort (www.seatrailgolf.com) offers scenic views of the Calabash River, which winds its way through the resort, and features ancient oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. The Byrd Course, one of three great courses at Sea Trail, offers a challenging but fair layout that is fun for golfers of all levels. Located on Hwy. 9 in the North Myrtle Beach area, Woodland Valley Golf & Country Club is perfectly located for play on the way in and out of Myrtle Beach. With a limited number of houses within the development, you'll enjoy the quiet serenity you'd expect on a golf course and the layout and conditions make Woodland Valley one of the best values on the Grand Strand. Bordered by the Lockwood Folly River and the Intra-coastal Waterway, Sandpiper Bay is a "player friendly" Dan Maples design that features some of the best greens on the Grand Strand. Sandpiper Bay have upgraded their course by installing Mini-Verde greens. Mini-Verde is a Bermuda-type grass that has a high tolerance for heat and offers a smooth surface similar to bentgrass.
