Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Description:
The Dunes Golf & Beach Club was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is rated as one of America’s Top 100 courses. The only Myrtle Beach course to be ranked as one of the “Top 100 Courses in America” by both Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine, the The Dunes Golf & Beach Club has hosted many tournaments including six Senior Tour Golf Championships, the Women’s U.S. Open and the finals of the PGA Tour Qualifying School. The par 5 13th hole, nicknamed “Waterloo,” stretches 590 yards and wraps around Lake Singleton. “Waterloo” was named by Sports IllustratedTM as one of the “Best 18 Holes in America” and by Golf DigestTM as one of the “100 Best Holes in America.”
