The Ultra Premium Package gives you value, quality, and choice. What more could you want? With the Ultra Premium Package, you'll pick three courses
from the list of high-quality, high-value golf courses that represent the
best of the Grand Strand. Carolina National (www.carolinanationalgolf.com),
rated 4½ Stars in the Golf Digest Places to Play Guide is an unforgettable
course and an outstanding value. Crow Creek Golf Club (www.crowcreek.com) is
a terrific parkland course that measures more than 7,100 yards from the
"tips" but is still player-friendly for golfers of all skill levels.
Prestwick Country Club (www.prestwickcountryclub.com) is a Scottish Links
masterpiece created by Pete and P.B. Dye. The course stretches to 7,058
yards from the tips and is known as one of the most challenging courses on
the Grand Strand. River's Edge Golf Club (www.river18.com) is an Arnold
Palmer Signature Course. For scenic beauty, River's Edge is hard to top. The
Rees Jones Course at Sea Trail Resort (www.seatrailgolf.com) offers scenic
views of the Calabash River, which winds its way through the resort, and
features ancient oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. Tidewater Golf Club
(www.tide-water.com) was named as one of the top 75 Resort Courses in
America and features unsurpassed views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the
salt marshes that lead to the Atlantic Ocean. After playing Tidewater, I'll
bet you agree with us that the 4th and 12th holes are two of the best golf
holes you'll ever play. Tiger's Eye Golf Links (www.tigerseye.com) features
bent grass greens that are always in perfect condition. Tiger's Eye is rated
4 ½ Stars in the Golf Digest Places to Play Guide and was recently named by
Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Top 100 Public Access Courses in the U.S.
and the 5th Best Public Access Course in North Carolina. In 2003, the
readers of the Myrtle Beach Sun News named Tiger's Eye the Best Overall Golf
Course in Myrtle Beach. Tradition Golf Club (www.traditionclub.com) was
voted South Carolina's "Golf Course of the Year" by the Myrtle Beach Area
Golf Course Owner's Association for 2001, "Top Fairways" for 1998 by Golf
for Women, and nominated "Best New Public Course" by Golf Digest in 1996.
This classically designed parkland course features tree-lined fairways,
waste bunkers that stretch the length of the fairways, and gently rolling
terrain. The final course on the list is the beautiful Bald Head Island Golf
Club (www.bhigolf.com). Any day that starts and ends with a boat ride and
has golf in between is going to be a great one. You'll take the ferry from
Southport, NC, to Bald Head Island, where you'll play 18 holes on a public
course, but you'll swear you're playing your own private country club. The
challenge of Bald Head Island Golf Club is matched by the outstanding
scenery. Just watch out for the alligators! Can't choose only 3 of these
courses? Talk to one of our Golf Directors about extending your stay and
playing a few extra rounds. If you're making the trip, you might as well
play the best the Grand Strand has to offer.
All Golf Packages include: Lodging, Taxes, Surcharges, Carts and Green Fees unless otherwise noted. Prices are based on four golfers sharing a two bedroom golf villa.
